A balcony electrical line needs more care than a normal indoor socket because humidity, dust, sunlight and temperature changes can affect the wiring.
The socket should be protected, the cable should not lie on the floor, be trapped by a door or pass through places where water can collect. Load, cable size, breaker and grounding should be checked.
If a heater, air conditioner, pump, refrigerator or power tool is used on the balcony, a dedicated line with the correct cable and breaker is usually safer.
If the socket gets hot, the breaker trips, there is a smell or lights flicker, stop using the line and have it inspected. The cause should be found, not only the visible part replaced.
